How
can condensation affect the fabric of our homes and our health?
Most homes will at some time experience condensation on their windows
and in many cases the windows will stream with water. However, condensation
can lead to the development of blackspot mould (Aspergillis Niger), which can
grow on walls and in some cases on clothes in wardrobes and soft furnishings.
Condensation can also be the cause of 'musty' smells in our homes. Condensed
water on the surfaces of our homes provides the ideal environment for mould
spores, already in the air, to germinate and grow. Many people also associate
this mould growth with health problems.

EnviroVent Flat Unit draws air directly from the outside but does not
enjoy the benefits of solar gain from the loft, the unit contains an integral,
‘intelligent’ comfort heater.The electronic controller automatically
measures airflow and external temperatures and adjusts the power supply to the
heater to achieve constant comfort levels when incoming air temperature falls
below 10º centigrade.
